B2B Marketing Exchange 2018 is taking place in Scottsdale from February 19–21, and my team at Terminus is already packing our sunscreen and swag in preparation. While I’m thrilled to have the chance to network with some of the sharpest B2B marketers out there, I’m not going to lie — I’m also pretty excited for some of that warm Arizona sunshine in the the middle of winter.
With all the great sessions and networking opportunities at the event, these round out my best bets for all the account-based marketing-minded folks attending the conference.
1. Winning Big with ABM as #OneTeam
Sangram Vajre, CMO and co-founder of Terminus, will be sharing how our sales and marketing teams got aligned with account-based marketing — and how yours can too! Sangram is a fantastic, enthusiastic speaker, and the concept of #OneTeam is key to a successful ABM program. Sangram will discuss how to form the ideal go-to-market team and create a predictable, scalable revenue model. He will also share real-world case studies and best practices from ABM campaigns that are driving measurable results.
2. ABM Beyond the Hype: What High-Growth Organizations Do Differently
Matt Senatore, ABM Director at SiriusDecisions, is always an insightful speaker. I’m looking forward to hearing him share what best-in-class organizations do to optimize ABM — and how their efforts differ from those of lower-performing organizations.
3. A Shared View of Success for Account-Based Marketing
As a metrics gal at heart, I’m looking forward to Julia Stead, VP of marketing at Invoca, dropping the knowledge on how to build a collaborative, successful set of shared goals and metrics across sales and marketing. Julia and she and her team are pros at marketing attribution. I can’t wait to hear how they use data to drive success and prove that their ABM efforts are working!
Okay, so this one isn’t specific to ABM, but who doesn’t like fireworks? The B2B Marketing Exchange will kick with a bang (literally) with a fireworks show overlooking the blooming Sonoran Desert. Local musicians will get the show started as you sip cocktails and network with other attendees.
5. ABM (All ’Bout Margaritas) Happy Hour
No PowerPoints. No sales pitches. Just a bunch of movers and shakers in the ABM space getting together to enjoy each other’s company and wind down after a busy three days.
